(MENAFN) Chief Executive of Qatar Airways, Akbar Al-Baker, said that the carrier expects its revenues to grow 40 percent this year, Al Arabiya reported.
Al-Baker said that the carrier’s spending on expansion has risen by 40 percent, and its order for Boeing’s new 787 Dreamliner has risen to six from two, expecting to take delivery by September next year.
He added that Qatar Airways also hoped to conclude talks with Canada’s Bombardier over the purchase of 20-30 C-series aircraft by July, implying huge strategic plans to achieve growth in the coming years.
