On the occasion of its 50^th anniversary celebrations announced earlier this year, BBK, Bahrain’s pioneer in retail and commercial banking, has pledged to pay BD 5,000 off the loans of 50 of its customers, which started from March 2022 and will end during January 2023, with a total value of BD 250,000.

Since the launch of the campaign, BBK has paid BD 5,000 off the loans of 35 lucky customers until now, or has written off the entire loan if it was under this sum, with a total value of BD 175,000.

The bank has announced that as of November, 15 of its customers still have a chance to get their loans paid off partially or fully by BD 5,000 if they maintain their existing loan or have applied for a new loan between the 2^nd of March, 2022 and 24^th of January, 2023.

Mr. Hassaan Burshaid, BBK’s Group Chief Human Resources and Administration Officer said: “This campaign forms part of the Bank’s key initiatives held throughout the year as part of its 50^th anniversary celebrations. BBK has launched this campaign as a token of appreciation to all of our loyal customers, allowing every loan holder to potentially benefit from this offering.”

Mr. Hassaan noted that this campaign was launched as a result of the BBK’s Golden Jubilee celebrations, expressing the bank’s desire to help customers fulfil their aspirations as it reduces the burden of their loans partially or completely.

He concluded by saying that new customers can also be eligible for all kinds of loans offered by BBK by simply downloading the BBK Mobile app and submitting a loan application. He noted that BBK provides a wide variety of loans with simple terms and swift processes, with competitive interest rates.
