Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait continues to support CPISP

The Advisor for Political and Economic Affairs at the Court of the Crown Prince, and Board Member of the Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Program (CPISP), HE Shaikh Mohammed bin Essa Al Khalifa, received a BHD 400,000 cheque from Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait (BBK) Group Chief Executive, Dr. AbdulRahman Ali Saif.

HE Shaikh Mohammed bin Essa highlighted the important role of the CPISP in investing in Bahraini youth by supporting and empowering them, thanks to the ongoing support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

His Excellency noted that the support received by sponsors has contributed significantly to CPISP’s achievements and objectives, providing the best educational opportunities for outstanding Bahraini students and preparing them for the labor market requirements to contribute to the Kingdom’s comprehensive development. 

The cheque, represents BBK’s continuation of its social role in supporting Bahraini youth and forms part of BBK’s ‘Platinum’ category sponsor status, which requires an overall annual donation of BHD 1 million.

HE Shaikh Mohammed extended his gratitude to BBK for their continued support as a platinum sponsor, which forms part of the Bank’s belief in the importance of supporting initiatives that contribute to providing more opportunities for distinguished citizens who wish to complete their higher education at top international universities.

Dr. AbdulRahman commended His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s, support of Bahraini youth, and reaffirmed BBK’s pledge to support youth development programs.

BBK Chief Officer of Human Resources and Administration, Hassaan Burshaid, Head of Corporate Communication and Marketing, Zain Al Zayani, Head of Corporate Communications, Rafa Kaddoura, BBK Corporate Communication Specialist, A.Rahman Danish, and CPISP Director of Finance and Administrative Affairs, Shatha Ahmed Ali, were also in attendance.
