What are people asking?

I want to apply for a loan against the guarantee. Am I eligible for a loan if my retirement salary is BD 250/-, and I have another income from renting apartments?

Unfortunately, you will not qualify for a loan. The loan can only be granted to salaried customers or professionals such as doctors, engineers, and lawyers.

How many individuals can combine salaries to get a loan against the guarantees?

A maximum of three individuals can do so.

What are the loan application requirements?

Applicants should be between 21 to 55 years old.

Salary requirements:

  • Bahraini and Expatriate Employees: Minimum BD 200/-
  • Self Employed Individuals: Not required, only against the guarantee.

 

Documents required:

  • Original salary certificate
  • Salary transfer letter
  • Undertaking salary transfer and indemnity or third-party guarantee for non-Bahrainis. 
  • Three months bank statement for non-BBK customers. 
  • Latest payslip for salaried individuals
  • Original CPR/Smart Card and passport
