Bahrain’s pioneer in commercial and retail banking, BBK, recently announced the names of their four lucky Al Hayrat Ramadan weekly winners which took place during the holy month of Ramadan. The winners received the prize money at a special handover ceremony where the cheques have been handed over by Reinaldo Moarry, Head of Retail Marketing.

The handover ceremony was also attended by Nada Bubshait, Marketing Communications Manager.

For the holy month of Ramadan, BBK ran a promotion for the sixth year in a row, whereby instead of the regular monthly draws, weekly draws were held, with the prize money growing in size as each week progressed and a final Eid draw with a bumper cash prize. Furthermore, the eligibility criterion of making the deposits a month before the draw date was reduced to a week during this promotion.

Ms. Fadheela Mosa Jaafar, the winner of the first weekly prize of $20,000 expressed her thanks to the bank for offering these special prizes on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, and expressed her intention to continue saving in hopes of winning the Grand Prize of $500,000.

Mr. Mohd Shaikh Al Mubarak, winner of the second weekly prize of $25,000, stated that BBK has always been his Main bank, as he prefers its superior services and products on offer.

Ms. Sabah Hajih Bahman, winner of the third weekly prize of $30,000, brought along her Son Rakan Al Mulhem to receive the prize.
She could not believe the news of her win and attributed it to the blessings of the holy month.

The grand Eid prize winner of $50,000 was Mr. Hamad Obaid AlMahal Al Mas. Mr. Hamad, who brought along his sons Saif, Hamza and Ayoub for the handover ceremony, was simply ecstatic at winning.

Mr. Hamad, who has been a loyal customer of BBK’s for the past 25 years, exclaimed that he had almost withdrawn his Al Hayrat deposit right before Eid with the intention to buy a new car for his family, however, he had reconsidered and decided to wait till after Eid. Luckily for him, Mr. Al Mas will now be able to buy his choice of dream car with his Al Hayrat winnings.

What’s more, he also plans to use the prize money to marry off his eldest son Saif.

 BBK and non-BBK customers can open Al Hayrat saving account, starting from BD50; and they can withdraw their cash anytime at their convenience.
