(MENAFN) Kenya’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Mohamud Ali Saleh, said that this month, the country’s national carrier, Kenya Airways, would launch its flights to Jeddah, reported Arab News.
Saleh added that the new twice a week service would benefit around 30,000 Kenyans who lived in the Kingdom and around 2,000 Kenyans who studied religious education in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh and Jeddah.
He also said that the service would increase the number of business and leisure travelers from Saudi since Kenya had the Masai Mara, which is one of the world’s best known safari destinations.
It is worth noting that the service, which will take four hours from Jeddah, will be operated on a Boeing 737-800.
