Cadillac reports 28% increase in ME sales

09 May 2010

(MENAFN) Cadillac, a brand of US-based General Motors, said that it has registered a 28 percent increase in total Middle East sales in the first quarter of 2010 compared with the same period of last year, according to a press statement.

According to the statement, this growth is due to high demand for the all-new SRX luxury crossover vehicle which was successfully launched in the region in January this year, and the continued popularity of both the Escalade full-size utility vehicle and the CTS entry level luxury sedan.

Sales of the third-generation Escalade, the flagship of the Cadillac brand are up 29 percent over the first quarter 2009.

The Escalade ranks as one of the safest vehicles in its category, with numerous safety systems and crash-avoidance technologies, the statement added.
