BBK Recognises High Performers at Annual Awards

BBK, Bahrain’s pioneer in Retail and Commercial banking recognised and rewarded exceptional employees at the Bank’s recent Annual Dinner which was held on the 23rd of January 2020 at the Gulf Hotel.
As part of BBK’s Employee Recognition Programme ‘ERP’, prizes were presented to employees who either demonstrated exceptional performance or who made significant contributions across areas such as leadership, teamwork, sales and women empowerment during 2019.
Mr. Reyadh Sater, BBK Group Chief Executive, presented the awards including; “The Chief Executive Award for Excellence in Leadership”, which went to Ahmed Salah Sultan, Region Head in Retail Banking, and Ahmed Abdulqader Taqi, Department Head – Remedial Management. “The Chief Executive Award for Women Empowerment” was awarded to Hassaan Mohamed Burshaid, Group Chief Human Resources & Administration Officer, and “The Chief Executive Award for Distinguished Achievement” to Abdulrahman Abdulla Buheji, Senior Designated Credit Officer, and Husain Abdulmajeed Toorani, Unit Head- Corporate Sales in Treasury and Investment.
On the Retail Banking side, the following outstanding employees were recognised in their respective fields including Abdulla Ahmed Hasan as ‘Best Teller’, Ali Ahmed Kadhem as ‘Best Sales Consultant’, Hussain A.Nabi Abdulla as ‘Best Customer Service Representative’, and Ahmed Abdulla Amiri and Hameed Ali Al Shakhoori as ‘Best Team Leader’. Additionally, the Budaiya Financial Mall won ‘The Best branch of the Year’.
In recognition of teamwork, the “The Agile Team”, BBK’s dedicated ‘Digital’ team won ‘The Best Team of the Year Award’. The honoured team members included Mai Ibrahim AlHamar, Nada Saleh Taradah, Bassam Salman AlMoosawi, Sumaya Ebrahim ALSadeq, Ahmed Sameer AlSalman, Noof Yusuf AlNaham, Hayat Hassan Omran, Jasim Hassan Ebrahim, Hasan Ali AlAali, Hasan Haidal AlShehabi, Muna Alamdar Zainal, Ahmed Said Nawar, Mohamed Adnan Naseer and Ebrahim Juma AlSaadi.
“At BBK we strive to recognise and reward our employees’ efforts as they are the key to our sustainable success. As such, our ‘ERP’ programme runs throughout the year with employees being rewarded with Spot and Monthly awards for their contribution to BBK’s growth and success”, Mr. Sater concluded.
