BBK promotes three of its employees to executive positions
BBK, Bahrain’s pioneer in Retail and Commercial banking, announced the promotion of three employees from within its ranks to executive management positions, reflecting the Bank’s effective succession planning scheme and well thought-of career paths for all its cadres. The appointments include Mr. Salman A. Aziz Al Hasan promoted to Assistant General Manager – International Banking, Mr. Vidhu Mittal, to Assistant General Manager – Information Technology and Mr. Ahmed Salah Sultan, to Executive Senior Manager – Retail Banking.
Commenting on these promotions, BBK Group Chief Executive, Mr. AbdulRahman Ali Saif said: “These promotions from within our team underscore the confidence the Board and Executive Management have in the BBK team and reflect the success of the Bank’s investment in training and developing its employees, empowering them to reach their full potential and enabling them to participate in achieving the Bank’s strategic goals”

Mr. Salman A. Aziz Al Hassan has a M.Sc. in Finance from DePaul University, The Charles H. Kellstadt Graduate School of Business which he was awarded in 2013, the same year he joined BBK. He brings over 22 years of banking experience to his new role. Mr. Vidhu Mittal has 27 years of work experience of which 14 years has been in the field of Information Technology. He holds an MBA from Strathclyde Business School, which he received in 2002. Finally, Mr. Ahmed Salah Sultan received his MBA from Strathclyde Business School in 2014 and has 14 years banking experience.
