BBK opens a new Branch at Lulu Shopping Centre in Manama

20 Dec 2018

Bahrain’s pioneer in retail and commercial banking inaugurated its new full-fledged branch in Lulu Shopping Centre, Manama. The official opening took place on the 6th of December 2018 in the presence of BBK Chief Executive, Mr. Reyadh Yousif Sater and the Executive Management.

The new Manama branch replaces the former two branches: the Central market branch and the Manama government avenue branch, and offers a comprehensive range of banking products and services in a more convenient location, with ample parking space. It is located in Lulu Mall’s ground floor and is accessible through the main gate. It opens from 10am to 6pm Saturday to Wednesday. An ATM has also been placed near the main gate, for cash and cheque deposits during the Mall official working hours.

BBK continuously looks at ways to add value to its customers by providing them with more convenient and efficient banking experience, whether through launching pioneering technologies, providing customer service excellence, or by expanding its branch and ATM network to be closer to them. Some of these added value services the pioneering queuing application ‘BBK Queue App’, a mobile phone application that allows BBK Retail Banking customers to avoid the queues and plan their visit to the branch by booking a ‘virtual ticket’ on a specific date and time at one of the Bank’s branches. The launch of the Cardless cash withdrawals across its extensive ATM network is another innovative initiative that allows BBK customers to withdraw cash from any BBK ATM without using a debit card in a secure and safe manner. The Bank also introduced the Kingdom’s first ‘ITM’, Interactive Teller Machine, in Isa Town Financial Mall. The video-based interactive technology allows customers to conduct transactions and banking services using real time two-way video/audio interaction with benefits such as allowing cash withdrawals greater than the usual and conducting transactions that would normally require a visit to the bank teller.
