Manama, Bahrain: BBK, Bahrain’s pioneer in retail and commercial banking, honoured nearly one hundred of its loyal employees who showed commitment to the Bank throughout the years and contributed to its success.
On this occasion, BBK organized a virtual meeting for its honoured employees due to the exceptional circumstances imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic. The honourees, who had served the Bank between 5 and 40 years, have been recognized with trophies and cash awards, which were credited and delivered to them individually.
BBK Group Chief Executive, Dr. AbdulRahman Ali Saif, explained the importance of this annual celebration being an opportunity to reinforce the Bank’s gratitude towards the commitment of its loyal employees. Which is the reason behind the management’s insistence on carrying the celebration out regardless of the difficulties imposed by the current circumstances.
Dr. Saif, addressed the honoured employees by saying: “Honouring our loyal employees is of priority to the management as it comes with great gratitude for the years of dedication that you have spent exhuming tremendous commitment and exceptional work. It gives me honour to highlight the fact that one of the main attributes of BBK having low turnover rates throughout the years is the sense of the one-family spirit. We take great pride in our close-net culture and I urge everyone to ensure that these values are carried over to the future”.
Mr. Hassaan Burshaid, Group Chief, Human Resources and Administration, affirmed that BBK constantly invests in its human capital and creates an appropriate and suitable working environment that promotes the growth and development of talents. He added that the Bank has built throughout the years, long-term relationships with its employees, appreciating their achievements, devotion to work and loyalty.
