BBK Donates BD3,000 to Bahrain Parent’s Care Home

In line with their strategic initiatives for a brighter community, BBK- Bahrain’s pioneer in retail and commercial banking- handed over a cheque of BD 3,000 as a gesture of their support towards Bahrain Parent’s Care Home during a site visit. The Board of Trustees led by its Chairman Ahmed Al Banna welcomed Mr. Abdulkarim Bucheery, Chief Executive of BBK who presented the donation cheque in the presence of Mr. Abdul Hussain Bustani, Assistant General Manager- human Resources and Administration and Ms. Rafa Kaddoura and Ms Abeer Swar from the Corporate Communication Department.

In a speech, Mr. Ahmed Al Banna welcomed his guests and expressed his sincere thanks to BBK, a major supporter of the care home, for its continuous help since the inception of Bahrain Parent’s Care Home. Such support, he said, effectively contributes to carrying out numerous programs and activities carried out by Bahrain Parent’s Care Home, which has a significant impact upon fulfilling its humanitarian mission. 

Mr. Al Banna expressed the Board of Trustees’ appreciation to the BBK Chief Executive and the Executive Management for their visit, as it was the first visit paid by a national institution to this parent care facility, he added.

Bahrain Parent’s Care Home is a social institution that provides day care services to over 160 elderly people and pensioners, of both sexes, and offers religious, health, psychological and social services in addition to cultural and recreational programs.

As one of the major financial institutions in Bahrain, providing regular contributions to various humanitarian causes and societies throughout the years, BBK has supported entities including major clubs, charity funds and social initiatives. These initiatives are aimed at achieving the sole goal and vision of a brighter future and community in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
