BBK contributes over BD 370,000 to the Bahraini community

In line with its strategy for a brighter future, BBK has contributed over BD 370,000 to the Bahraini community during the first half of the year 2009. Those contributions to various humanitarian initiatives and societies, included: American Mission Hospital, Sh. Ebrahim bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Centre for Culture & Research, Bahrain Centre for Studies & Research, Bahrain Down Syndrome Society, Bahrain Association for Mental Retardation, Public Commission for the Protection of Marine Resources, Environment and Wildlife, Bahrain Institute for Special Education, The Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Fund, UCO Parent’s Care Centre, Hidd Rehabilitation Centre for Special Needs, Beit Al Qur’an, Bahrain Defense Force- Mohammed Bin Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa Cardiac Centre, Al Rahma Centre for Youth Care, Muharraq Parent’s Care Centre, Muharraq Social Welfare Society, The Saudi Bahraini Institute for the Blind, Zaka Fund, Bahrain Red Crescent Society, Al Baraka Society & Cerebral Palsy Friendship Society.

Mr. Abdulkarim Bucheery, BBK’s Chief Executive, received in the Headquarters, representatives of the respective societies who received BBK’s contributions. Furthermore BBK’s contribution is a token of the bank’s ongoing social commitment to the Kingdom of Bahrain and its citizens.

BBK has been one of the major financial institutions in Bahrain providing ongoing contributions to different humanitarian causes and societies throughout the years. Supported entities included major clubs, charity funds and social initiatives. BBK contributions to different societies were to support them in achieving their goals and vision of a brighter future in the Kingdom.
