BBK awards 101 outstanding employees

BBK, Bahrain’s pioneer in retail and commercial banking, celebrated its long-serving and outstanding employees in recognition of their dedication to their work and valuable contributions to the development and management of the bank.

A total of 101 employees who have been with BBK for a period of five to forty years were recognized and awarded in The Group Chief Executive Annual Awards ceremony which was held at the “Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain” in the presence of Dr. Abdulrahman Ali Saif, CEO of the BBK Group, as well as numerous senior managers and department heads. 

Dr. Saif praised the BBK employees for their efforts, in addition to their solid dedication to BBK’s values, and their loyalty to the bank, and said: “We affirm BBK’s commitment to holding this ceremony annually to honor our long-serving employees in credit to the significant contributions they have provided. This acknowledgment also serves as an encouragement for all BBK employees.”

Dr Saif has also emphasized that this year’s ceremony is a unique event because it falls within the bank’s celebrations of its 50-Anniversary and stated the commitment of BBK to continue investing in young national talents and develop their skills in the important areas of the Bank, including female employees, to qualify them to hold top positions in the Bank.

On behalf of her honored coworkers, Latifa Al-Sada, Head of the Department of Real Estate Affairs, Services and Trade in Corporate Banking, gave a speech in which she thanked the Bank for honoring outstanding employees which reflected BBK’s appreciation for the years of service that her colleagues had given to the Bank.

She also addressed the unique work environment that distinguishes BBK, the work team that functions as a single family, the executive management’s attention to employee development in terms of ongoing education and training, and the provision of opportunities for female and young leaders to assume positions of leadership and management within the bank.
