BBK announces the winners of its 2018 Annual Awards

BBK, Bahrain’s pioneer in Retail and Commercial banking presented prizes to the winners of its 2018 Annual Awards during the Bank’s Annual Dinner held on the 24th of January 2019 at the Gulf Hotel. These Annual Awards are part of the Bank’s Employee Recognition Programme ‘ERP’ and rewards BBK employees who have either demonstrated exceptional performance or who have made significant contributions in a number of specific areas, such as leadership, team work, sales and women empowerment.

Mr. Reyadh Sater BBK Chief Executive presented “The Chief Executive Award for Excellence in Leadership” to Dr. Adel Salim Assistant General Manager of Retail Banking, “The Chief Executive Award for Women Empowerment” to Rashad Akbari Assistant General Manager of Operations and “The Chief Executive Award for distinguished achievement” to Mohammed Al Rayes, Head of Private Banking & Wealth Management.
 
On the Retail Banking side, the following outstanding employees were recognised in their respective fields as here listed: Omar Al Janahi as Best Teller, Hussain Jaffar as Best Sales Consultant, Ali Kadhem as Best Customer Service Representative and Aysha Al Moosa as Best Team Leader, and the Hamad Town branch won The Best branch of the Year.

Additionally, in recognition of team work the “Fixed Income Team”  won The Best Team of the Year Award, The honoured team members are: Michael Wiggins, Hussain Toorani, Fatima Ahmed and Ali Shams.           

It worth noting that  addition to the Annual Awards, BBK emphasizes on the importance of rewarding great work through its ‘ERP’ programme throughout this year. Significant numbers of employees are being rewarded with Spot and Monthly awards for their contributions to the Bank growth and success.
