Bahrain Airport awards contract to Cavotec

(MENAFN) The Chief Executive of Bahrain Airport Co (BAC) said that the company has signed a contract with Cavotec, a global engineering group, Gulf Daily News reported.
The contract aims at introducing Cavotec’s technology of complete ground support equipment. This new technology is an innovative and eco-friendly system designed for supplying aircraft more efficiently and at a lower cost.
Cavotec will also deliver and install pop-up units, 11kv sub-stations, a water treatment plant and a vacuum evacuation system.
Installation work is due for completion in February next year with a subsequent operation and maintenance period for one year, the official said.
