Aabar considers investments in UAE, Algeria

(MENAFN) A statement issued by Aabar Investments said that the firm is considering industrial investments in the UAE and Algeria this year, Reuters reported.
Aabar said that it would invest in a UAE-based joint venture, under which it would own and operate a manufacturing facility for tunnel-boring machinery.
The firm is also considering an Algerian joint venture for the production of vehicles, according to a statement released on the Abu Dhabi bourse.
Aabar will consider the investments at a board meeting due on February 16.
