Jassim Abdulla Jassim Ebrahim wins $500,000 from Al Hayrat!BBK to award $1,000,000 by end of year!

Al Hayrat, BBK’s unique savings account that presents exciting opportunities for its customers to win prizes while they save, has made the announcement everyone has been waiting for, the winner of the $500,000 Mid year prize from Al Hayrat. The draw offered the single lump sum cash prize of $500,000 and was carried out on the 29th of May 2013 under the supervision of Mr. Yasser Buallay Ministry of Commerce Representative and bank officials.

Mr. Jassim Abdulla Jassim, a 55 year old Bahraini from Al Dair, was announced as the lucky grand prize winner, Who was received in a festive ceremony at BBK to celebrate his win, commencing with being collected, along with her family, in a stretch limousine. He was presented with the cheque for $500,000 by Mr. A. Karim Bucheery, CE of BBK in the Main Branch on the 10th of June. The reception was attended by GM- Business Group, Sh. Rashed Al Khalifa and GM- Shared Services Group, Mr. Reyadh Sater, alongside senior management from the Bank.

The $500,000 cash prize represents the Al Hayrat Mid year prize as part of the newly enhanced Al Hayrat prizes worth $2,500,000 in 2013.

Upon receiving the news of winning the $500,000, Mr. Jassim Abdulla could barely believe it and asked for some time to let the news sink in.
Mr. Jassim, a 55 year old Bahraini from Al Dair, who has been a loyal customer of the Bank since 1986 could not be happier with the timing of the prize as he approaches retirement.
He has mentioned that he would like to use the money for his son’s treatment, as well as buying a new car for the family and running some necessary repairs and maintenance to his home.
